Resin Bound Paths & Walkways Questions

Every question we get asked about resin bound paths & walkways, answered straight.

Questions

How It Works

Will the surface let rain through?

A correctly installed resin bound surface is permeable, meaning rainwater drains vertically through the finish rather than running off the sides. The base still needs to be prepared with adequate drainage falls to suit the site.

What happens if the base problem is only found once the old path is lifted?

If the base is worse than the initial assessment suggested, the partner explains the additional work required and the extra cost before proceeding. Nothing is added to the scope without your agreement.

Is this only suitable for decorative garden paths?

No. Resin bound surfaces are used on front garden access routes, side passages, and utility paths where a stable, low-maintenance finish is the priority. The key factor is whether the area is suitable for a permeable, bound surface.
